Who is Artyprints?

Artyprints is managed by ZigZag Art Limited and is based in the courtyard of Claydon House a National Trust property in north Buckinghamshire. We work closely with many of the world’s leading art publishers and are able to offer a wide range of subjects and styles including abstracts, landscapes, florals, still life, figurative and photographic sourced from prestigious contemporary artists, emerging artists and photographers, exclusive private collections and world renowned art galleries and museums. We also work with a number of UK based manufacturers to supply customers with high quality finished product, ready to hang, including Prints on Canvas, Prints as an Artblock and Framed Prints.

QUESTIONS ABOUT WHAT WE OFFER

What is a Print?

All of our Prints are high quality reproductions that are produced on good quality paper stock using a variety of printing techniques to capture the details of the original works of art.

What is a Print on Canvas?

Nearly all of the prints that we offer can be supplied as a Print on Canvas, ready to hang. Having a print produced as a Print on Canvas is a great alternative to having it framed as you only have to consider how the image will suit the place you are going to hang it; you don’t have to worry about whether the colour of the frame will fit with the image or the colour of the room. Just choose your print and then select the Print on Canvas option.

To produce a Print on Canvas, we firstly make a rigid box that is exactly the same size as the print and 5 cm deep. We cover this box with an off-white or cream coloured fine weave canvas or calico material. The corners are folded neatly for a crisp, clean finish. We then bond the print to the box frame using a glue which ensures a perfect and lasting bond. The edges of the print are then carefully finished so that it appears that the print and the box frame were always one item. Finally, a special protective coating is applied to the print; this not only protects the print but also enhances the colours. The finished item is designed to fit flush onto the wall and is a perfect look for any contemporary or stylish home. Produced in the UK, our Prints on Canvas come securely packaged and ready to hang.

What is a Print as an Art Block?

Nearly all of the prints that we offer can be supplied as a Print as an Art Block, ready to hang. Having a print produced as a Print as an Artblock is a real alternative to having it framed and suits all types of art but particularly photographic and contemporary imagery. The neatness of the finish has to be seen to be believed!! Just choose your print and then select the Print as an Artblock option.

To create a Print as an Art Block, the print is laminated and then applied to a high quality MDF board which has edges creating a box or block. The image is carried over onto the sides of the block and the edges are sharp and crisp giving a seamless and stunning effect to any image. In the process, the print is laminated which both protects it and allows it to be wiped clean. The completed Print as an Art Block is then individually wrapped for protection and comes ready to hang.

How Do We Frame Our Prints?

All of the prints that we offer can be supplied framed to a very high standard and ready to hang. We offer a wide choice of framing options to allow you to select exactly what you need to suit the space you have in mind. Just choose your print and then select the Frame It option.

All of our Framed Prints are produced in the UK to the very highest standards. They are produced using wooden mouldings and, should you choose one, feature bevel cut mounts cut on the latest precision machinery. All are fronted with optically perfect 2mm float picture glass. All of our Framed Prints are carefully packaged to protect them in transit and come ready to hang.

What is Art on Demand?

With Art on Demand, you can choose exactly what size you want your picture to be and have it printed to a very high quality on canvas. You can then take the paper or canvas to your local framer for it to be framed (if you order on paper) or stretched and finished (if you order on canvas). Art on Demand is the perfect option for when you are looking for a picture to fit a particular space in your home or office.

Firstly choose the image you want from our Art on Demand selection. Then specify the size you want. The size chosen must be in proportion to the original image….don’t worry, our ordering process makes this easy to do. Then choose whether you want it printed on paper or canvas. We will then print the image on paper or canvas (as you specify). Once you recieve it, you can take it to your local framer to be framed or 'stretched' and made ready to hang. If you order it on canvas we will print it in a way that allows the image to continue down the sides of the finished item which provides it with the perfect look.

What is our Exclusive Collection?

We have put together a collection of exclusive Framed Prints and Prints on Canvas, a collection that features best selling images and artists. We have worked closely with a designer and framer in the UK to bring beautiful and striking images together with the perfect frame or canvas treatment to make it easy for you to find exactly what you are looking for.

All of our exclusive Framed Prints and Prints on Canvas are produced in the UK to the very highest standards. The colour and style of the frame is chosen specifically to enhance the image. How do I place an order with you?

The easiest and most efficient way to place an order is to do so online. We have done everything we can to make this easy. It is also perfectly safe and secure. To order online, simply add the item you would like to purchase to your shopping cart and check out using our secure checkout system.

Can I order by phone or by e-mail?

Although we encourage customers to order online, Artyprints has a dedicated customer service team who can take your order and payment over the phone. Our office is open Monday to Friday from 9am - 5pm. Should you wish to place an order by e-mail, please e-mail us.

What if I have a question about what I am ordering?

Should you have any enquiries regarding the products we sell, or would prefer to place an order over the telephone rather than the Internet, customers living in the UK can call us on 01296 738079. What happens if the item I order is no longer available?

Although we try and keep what we offer as up to date as possible, sometimes Publishers will make a particular print obsolete and the first we will know of this si when we come to order it on your behalf. Should this happen, we will let you know as quickly as possible so you can look for alternatives.

What types or forms of payment do you accept?

We accept payment by debit or credit cards from most providers of these cards.

Can I cancel my order and how do I do this?

You can cancel your order at any time prior to despatch. Simply call us on 01296 738079 or send us an email with your order number for quick reference.

QUESTIONS ABOUT HOW WE SHIP AND DELIVERIES

How Quickly Will I Receive My Order?

We aim to get your order to you as quickly as possible. How long it takes us to dispatch your order depends on what you have ordered.

If you have simply ordered a print and we have the print in stock then you should receive your order on either the following day or within 2 to 3 days.

If you have ordered a print and we find we don’t have it in stock, then your order could take up to 10 to 14 days to arrive with you. If you are in a hurry for a print, then it best to contact us before ordering to check whether we have it in stock or not.

If you have ordered a Print on Canvas, Print as an Artblock, Framed Print, something from our Exclusive Collection or an Art on Demand item then you should allow 14 working days for delivery. Again, we would hope to get the item to you quicker than this but to be safe you should allow 14 days.

If for any reason the delivery time looks as though it will be longer than that stated above, we will contact you and give you the option to cancel the order should you wish.

What Happens If There Is An Unexpected Delay To My Order Shipping?

We try and keep what we offer as up to date as possible to ensure that each and every item we carry is always available but we cannot guarantee this. From time to time items will temporarily go out of print and we are then forced to wait for re-prints from the Publisher and are at the mercy of their printing schedule. We will always let you know if there is a problem and keep you updated on your order's status and give you the option to either cancel or wait for delayed items.

How Will My Order Be Delivered?

All of our prints, unless they are oversize prints, will be delivered to you by MyHermes, in sturdy tubes, in 3 to 5 days. All of our oversized prints, Prints on Canvas, Prints as an Artblock, Framed Prints, Exclusive Collection and Art on Demand orders are shipped by courier, normally Interlink Express. We operate full online order tracking with all product deliveries, enabling us to track your delivery.

Where Will You Deliver To?

We will deliver prints worldwide. However, we can only deliver Prints on Canvas, Prints as an Artblock, Framed Prints, Exclusive Collection items and Art on Demand to the UK and Ireland.

What Will You Charge Me For Delivery?

Due to the variety of products we provide, we are unable to have a general delivery charge across all products. In general, our shipping costs are determined by whether or not an order contains a framed print, the total weight of the order and the destination country of the shipment.

The typical charges for a standard UK print order is £4. If it is a small print it will be sent by First Class post, if it is a larger print it will be sent by MyHermes on a 3 to 5 day service.

How Do I Know When My Order Has Been Shipped?

We will notify you by e-mail when your order is shipped.

What Do I Do If I Think My Shipment Has Been Lost?

If you feel that your shipment has been lost, please contact us immediately and we will determine if it is actually lost or just delayed. If it is lost, a replacement order will be processed and shipped immediately.

Can You Deliver To A Post Office Box?

Unfortunately, we are unable to deliver to Post Office Boxes.

Will I Pay Taxes On My Purchase?

All UK and EU customers will be charged the standard rate of VAT. This is included in the price you see. Other customers will not be charged tax.

Will I Be Charged Duty?

Customers receiving goods outside the UK may be liable for duty charges levied in their own country. If this happens, it's a matter between you and your local customs agency. You are responsible for any duty owed.

Can I Cancel My Order?

You can cancel your order at any time prior to despatch. Simply call us on 01296 738079 or send us an email with your order number for quick reference.


RETURNS POLICY

We stand by the quality of our products and guarantee your satisfaction. We want you to be completely happy with what you have purchased from us. If for any reason you are not satisfied with an item you have purchased, you may exchange it or return the item within 30 days from the date the order was received. You will receive a full refund of the cost of the purchased item(s). If you are returning the item because we have made an error (for example, we are showing the wrong size), then we will refund your shipping charges and we will also be responsible for the cost of returning the item. If you are returning it because you have changed your mind then shipping charges are not always refundable and you will generally be responsible for all return shipping charges.

How to Return Your Item

If for any reason you wish to return an item please contact us by phone or e-mail. We will let you know what to do and how and where to return the item.

Prints and Posters

We will generally ask you to return the print to us in the tube it arrived in. There are some exceptions to this – for very large or very small prints – which we will explain when you contact us if it applies to your order.

Framed Artwork, Prints on Canvas and Prints as an Artblock

Any framed or ready to hang artwork arriving damaged will be replaced or refunded at the customer's request. The damaged artwork will be collected by our courier and returned to our framer or the company responsible for manufacturing the item.

You can pay online through this website with the majority of major credit and debit cards.

Is the Security of My Payment Guaranteed?

With Artyprints.com, the security of your debit or credit card is guaranteed using our industrial strength encryption technologies.

Not Comfortable Paying Online?

If you would rather pay by phone than online you can do so. Just call us and we will take payment for your order over the phone. You can also pay us by cheque or through Paypal – please call us for more information.
